Technical overview
texSMS does not require ANY hardware, or ANY configuration of your email systems! texSMS uses your existing email infrastructure exactly as is - it is email server-independent, and all it requires is MS Outlook as your email client. Installing texSMS therefore presents no risk to critical business email systems.

An SMS is sent as an encrypted email to the texSMS master control servers. These texSMS servers decrypt the message, check the user's account status and limits, and then forward the message on to the Mobile Network partners. Mobile Network servers receive the message and deliver it to the desired mobile recipient. As the mobile recipient receives the SMS, a notification message is sent back to the original user to inform them of successful delivery. Finally, if the mobile recipient replies to the SMS, the reply is routed back to the original user's desktop.
