After working as an Area Manager for the Wooltru Group for three years, Dion Willis joined the telecommunications sector through an appointment with Nashua Mobile in 1998 as National Franchise Manager. Three years later, Dion joined Cell C and built up their post-paid offering, implementing sales and marketing strategies and steadily increasing market share. He was also responsible for enhancing the quality and performance of post-paid products and analysing the feasibility of new services. |
In 2004, Dion was hired by the Jamieson Group as Director of their African Division. The Jamieson Group is an Australian based global leader providing performance and process improvement solutions and during his four years with them, Dion handled the full array of responsibilities from planning and reporting to new sales opportunities and brand awareness and positioning. Dion then joined Xiotech Africa in 2008 as their Country Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa where he was mandated to grow revenue and customer breadth and was fully accountable for the success of the region.
Dion is an energetic and professional executive who leads and motivates those around him to deliver to the best of their ability. He is extremely results-orientated and adds a pure-sales impetus to the business which perfectly complements the existing board.
