Huge builds their channel

Huge Telecom announced today that they have appointed cellular routing pioneer Greg Wright to head up their newly created Channel and Distribution division at Huge, with effect from 1 September.  Wright pioneered fixed cellular routing in 1997 for the then Radiospoor and grew the division through Autopage Cellular as General Manager of their Fixed Cellular division for a period of five years.  Wright has a wide range of experience in sales, marketing, distribution and consulting and also headed up the National Sales function at Telemasters, a least cost routing provider listed on the AltX.

Huge’s CEO, James Herbst, comments, “We are very excited to bring Wright on board and look forward to his team’s strong performance under his leadership.”

Wright says he is looking forward to the opportunity presented to him by Huge and plans to grow their current base of channel partners considerably.  Wright’s appointment signals Huge’s strong focus in terms of establishing a formidable channel of distributors and resellers; an area they have traditionally not excelled in.

“In order to be able to effectively deliver market-leading telecommunications products to our customers, we need to grow our network of resellers and partners,” says Herbst.  “Given Wright’s track record and considerable achievements we feel he is uniquely qualified to deliver on this mandate.”

Greg Wright brings to 5 the total number of directors from the telecommunications industry Huge has appointed since listing in August 2007.
