Huge adds ECN to its portfolio of services

17 September 2009 - Huge Group

Managed Telecommunications provider, Huge Telecom, and ECN, an Alternative Network provider have signed an agreement which would see Huge adding ECN’s voice products into its portfolio of services.

Says Huge’s CEO, James Herbst, “VoIP has reached a level of maturity in the South African market and we’re far more comfortable these days offering this technology to our customers than we were a few years ago.”

Huge has traditionally only offered services from South Africa’s major networks, but its agreement with ECN signals a change.

“In the past, we have only offered services from the big players,” agrees Herbst,  “but the telecommunications landscape has changed significantly over the last few years and if current reports are anything to go on – we’re in for a few more surprises.”

“We have never sold our own voice products,” clarifies Herbst, “we’ve simply offered customers access to first tier network providers, which, combined with our bulk purchasing power and solution crafting abilities, have allowed us to provide our customers with a very powerful value proposition.”

Huge’s positioning as technology and network agnostic will provide customers with a trusted intermediary supplying the best the market has to offer.
